good evening!
just to let you guys know that I'm not dead yet. haha.

I got a little frustrated with studying so I decided to post something up ;)
I have some good things to say and uhm not that it's a 'bad news' or whatever, but I would like to voice out a little on that. And I would like to start on that first.

I hope that I'm not offending anyone here but I just wanna voice out on this.
I was going through all the requests sent to me yesterday -- hey, being a webmistress, I should be updating myself even though Phebs is currently running the site right?

so anyway, I went through this form that the requester wishes to cancel her request just because she wants to with no specific reason.
I will not mention who so you know who you are.
What I don't like here is that you come here to request from us and the next day or so, you just wanna cancel your requests just like that for no reason?
Please do not take this as a joke or whatever. You don't just come and request for fun.
We, the crew actually spent our time to finish up your request.

And I think that once you read that, your probably thinking ; "then why bother becoming a designer/reviewer/trailer maker if you think we're wasting your time?"
I'm not saying that this is true but in MY opinion, being a designer/reviewer/trailer maker is not a profession. It is our passion, and whatever we're doing for you now comes from our heart. We care for you, we are willing to use our time to fulfill your requests.

Like for the designers, they are willing and used their time to design a poster && background, lovely enough to grab your readers attention and beautify your fiction plus at the same time, fulfilling what you need.
Reviewers, we used our time to review your fictions, going through them and later, tell you what your mistakes are. Where you can fix your mistakes. Why are we doing this? It's because we are here to help you improve yourself not only in writing, but in your English Language as well. We are here to help you become a great writer one day, not saying that we are one but we can help.
Trailer makers, they used their time to make you guys a perfect trailer. Even though it's not as nice like those in the cinemas, but it came from our heart. and it is not easy to make trailers. They make trailers for you, to help you grab your readers attention.

You might probably think that I'm making such a big fuss just because some requester canceled her request for no reason but I'm not.
I just want to let you, requesters, know what and why are we here because it is not easy being what we are now.
I want and hope that you can respect us and we'll respect you as well.
Please do not take our forms for fun and request and later cancel them whenever you like.
If you do, please think twice before coming to request here; "Do I really want to request from ROL?".
and if you really want to cancel your request, please have a specific and good reason why you want to cancel it.

If this goes on, I might put it up as rule and to those who breaks it, I will either put you in the blacklist or I'll just ignore your requests.
I'm sorry if I sound strict or crazy or whatever. But I'm just thinking on behalf of my crew members.
How would you feel if you were a designer (or any other job), I'm a customer and requests to make a poster. Few days later I come to tell you that I want to cancel it for no reason?

Oh and also, requesters, PLEASE use the stuffs that you have requested. ESPECIALLY THE GRAPHICS && REVIEWS.
I noticed that most of you only used the poster or the background when you requested to have both posters && backgrounds.
And that most of you come here to request and later did not put it (let it be graphics, reviews or trailers) up at all in your fictions.
I'm being very kind to not put your names up. You very well know who you are.
Again, please respect us and used it if your gonna request from here.
I'm being strict here cause I do not want you to waste our time and effort to do these for you.

I hope that what I've said wouldn't lose my regular requesters or my new requesters.
I hope you guys understand and would make a difference when requesting.

Yup! It's creatively made. I wasn't disappointed.

Hmmm... more crew for graphics making? I don't know. It's a very good site.

Do you find the review given to you by the crew here useful?
It was really useful. I didn't realize i made so many grammar and spelling mistakes. I'll pay more attention to that from now.The only thing i didn't like that much is, that my reviewer couldn't say something about orginality and plot, since she didn't read japanese fics often.
